Returned to work after a week long Spring Break
Running two motors
We had tested the lobotomized motors one at a time, but when we had to run two motors together, there were some..hmm…challenges(expected?).
Writing to Serial Port using C++
So far, we had used a program which would send some bytes to serial port at the push of a button. Each time, we had to type in what bytes are to be sent and then click Send.
Sidenote: When you have such a system, either make sure that your wheels cannot move, or you are a really fast typist. If you dont do that then…
Now comes the task of writing a program that could send in multiple commands at once, send commands that are spaced out in time. We do some research on the Serial port support in C++ and decide that its best to use a 3rd party wrapper for it. We write a program

Wheel Woes!
The wheels were coupled to the motor using pololu's gear and cap. But it turned out that over excited with being able to move, Saprajna would kick off her wheels!
Now what? Well,…. what else….stick them on tight!!
